Samara Bastakoti (she/her)

Samara Bastakoti (she/her) joined the Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life in Fall 2025 and currently serves as the Coordinator for Residential Experience. In this role, Samara supervises the Community Coordinator/Resident Director team, serves as a Resident Director, supports summer camps and conferences, and helps oversee key operations related to training, communication, and safety within the residential community.

Samara completed her undergraduate studies at York College of Pennsylvania, earning a B.S. in Biological Sciences, and is currently pursuing her MBA at York. Prior to joining DFSL, she served as an Area Coordinator in the Department of Residence Life at York College, where she supported residential living within university-owned housing and further strengthened her commitment to student experience and development.
