2026-2027 Housing Dates and Deadlines
Late Stay Forms for Thanksgiving and Winter Breaks
Students who need to stay past 7 PM on November 24 must complete the Late Stay Form for Thanksgiving Break (due November 9). Students who need to stay past 7 PM on December 21 must complete the Late Stay Form for Winter Break (due December 4).

| December 1 | Deadline to submit a residence hall Petition for Release to move into a University-owned chapter house for Spring 2027. View petition instructions under Housing > Resources & Policies. |

| December 14 | Spring 2027 Room by Room rosters are due |
| December 18 | Early Arrival Form (Spring 2027 move-in) goes live on the DFSL Housing website |
| December 21 | Houses close at 7 p.m. for Winter Break |
| January 4 | Early Arrival Form is due for Spring 2027 move-in |
| January 20 | PHA Houses Open |
| January 23 - January 25 | Spring move-in |

| February 28 | Late Stay Form closes (Spring Break) |
| March 12 | Houses close by 7 p.m. for Spring Break |
| March 13 - March 21 | Spring Break (All University-Owned Houses will remain closed) |
| March 21 | Houses open by 8 a.m. |
| May 21 | House Closes at 7 p.m. |
| May 24 | Graduating Seniors move out by 7 p.m. |
Thanksgiving & Spring Break
All Move-in, Move-out, and Holiday Break Procedures will be coordinated by the Resident Director/House Director with cooperation from the House Corporation and Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life policies and procedures. As you leave for Thanksgiving/Spring Break please make sure you have done the following:
- Take out all trash, recycling, and compostable items to the appropriate outside receptacle.
- Close and lock the windows in your room.
- Turn off all lights and set your AC Unit to Low.
- Ensure you have your room key and UID so you will be able to get back in uneventfully upon your return.
- Unplug all unnecessary appliances (TVs, Clocks, Grooming appliances).
- Check Dining Room Fridge (dispose of all produce and late plates).
- Update your RD on when you are departing for the break.
Winter Break
All Move-in, Move-out, and Holiday Break Procedures will be coordinated by the Resident Director/House Director with cooperation from the House Corporation and Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life policies and procedures.
End of Academic Year
