I've been immersed in the arts, specifically music and theatre, my entire life. As I got older, I started to take an interest in other aspects surrounding that, such as digital media arts, photography, and content creation. I really started taking social media more seriously when I got to college, just trying to build my platform. My main goal is to make content that not only I know people want to see, but also to make content that I don't really see people like me making. I documented my rush journey on my TikTok, and I expressed that I went into it with a "let me just try it mindset." I didn't see many people of color, let alone guys talking about rushing, so I wanted to be that person. Going into it, I was nervous, because frat culture historically isn't exactly advertised as being the most welcoming to people who don't fit a certain mold. Thankfully, I found the right place for me within SigEp. The brotherhood I've found with the guys is really something special and really refreshing, as someone who never thought he'd join a fraternity. My chapter is full of incredibly driven, intelligent, and good-hearted guys who are constantly raising the bar on what it means to be a balanced man. I'm very excited and grateful to have the opportunity to grow and make positive change within my chapter as well as campus as a whole! Throughout, I know that I'll have the support of my brothers, pushing me to be the best I can be.
