Huong Truong (she/her)

Huong Truong joined DFSL in Fall 2023 as the Resident Director for Delta Phi Epsilon and the Graduate Assistant for Staff Experience & Culture. Huong focuses on fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for the department. Huong is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of her residents and promoting an equitable, welcoming campus community. Originally from Oklahoma City, OK, Huong completed her B.J. in Photojournalism and an M.Ed. in Student Affairs at the University of Missouri, where she became a member of Alpha Phi Gamma National Sorority, Inc. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education, Student Affairs, and International Education Policy with a concentration in Student Affairs. Her scholarly interests include Asian American identity development, racial equity in education, and embodied agency for women of color.
